I've a CVA optima in stainless-steel. I even have the black horn 209 breech plug. I load 100 grains by quantity of Blackhorn 209 using a 250 grain Barnes bullet. I have found that you really need to use an excellent primer. Tend not to use the primers manufactured for black powder as it's not black powder. I use the CCI magnum primers only. Never e
